Congratulations Kerry Franklin on being awarded the Vivienne Triplett Umpire of the year award👏 Congratulations to Kerry Franklin on being awarded the 2025 Vivienne Triplett – Umpire of the Year Award! Kerry’s umpiring career is nothing short of legendary, with appointments to the 2000 Sydney Olympics, 1998 ISF Women’s Softball World Championship, and the 2024 WBSC U-18 Women’s World Cup. Kerry has also earned Level 8 Umpiring Accreditation, multiple National Championship Grand Final Plate appointments, Softball Victoria Life Membership, and the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for her outstanding contributions to the sport.Beyond her personal achievements, Kerry is a true mentor and leader, dedicating her time to developing emerging umpires, leading training programs, and serving on the Victorian Umpiring Committee.
