Red Devils Softball Club was established in 2007 and is affiliated with Melbourne Softball Association who we proudly support.
Our Softball Club fields teams in various divisions of the Melbourne Metro League, which is a fastpitch competition for females held on Sundays at Fawkner Park, South Yarra. Our season commences the 1st week in May and ends with finals in September of each year. Game times are 10.45am, 1 pm and/or 3 pm.
We also compete in the mixed (males/females) twilight Slowpitch Softball League – held from November to March at Fawkner Park, South Yarra on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6.45 pm to 8 pm. Red Devils compete weekly on a night(s) that suits team members. A perfect way to unwind from your work or studies is to play in this fun, social competition. All equipment is supplied.
Both the Melbourne Metro (Fastpitch) and Slowpitch Leagues are suited for players of any ability or skill level. Age is also not a barrier, other than players should be 12 years and older for Metro League and 15 years and over for Slowpitch.
We have also, over a number of years, competed in various softball championships including Victorian & World Masters and Open championship events and with the backing of Melbourne Softball have supported the Special Olympics Softball team giving them encouragement and valuable game experience, further enhancing their skills and confidence in softball.
New members are always very welcome to come join our family orientated club – players, coaches, scorers and supporters are integral to our club.
