Melbourne Softball is pleased to advise that we are entering an OPEN WOMEN’S REPRESENTATIVE TEAM to compete in the annual MEMORIAL SHIELD hosted by Werribee Softball Association.
The tournament is to be held at Werribee’s facilities at President’s Park on the weekend of September 16 & 17 2017.
We are now seeking expressions of interest from Players and Officials
Nomination for players and officials is via an online form available on the following links:
Nominations will close July 14th at 5pm
Players, Coaches and Selectors should note that selection trials have been set for Sunday 23 July from 10.00am to 12noon and the squad shall train on Sundays 6, 13, 20 August. Attendance at all is required.
It should also be noted that a commitment for the full two days of the tournament is essential. Games may be fixtured between 8am – 6pm
Tournaments such as the Memorial Shield are a great opportunity for
members to extend their softball skills whilst enjoying a great experience proudly representing and playing for Melbourne Softball
