SUMMER MINOR LEAGUE PROGRAM
Melbourne Softball Association strives to provide pathways for young girls and boys that allow them to experience the great sport of softball at Fawkner Park and beyond.
Our Minor League aims to get girls and boys on a diamond enjoying the game of softball, while at the same time providing them with healthy exercise and social interactions. The program is suitable for those who are either new to the sport, wanting to gain some additional skills and training in softball or aim to join a team in our fastpitch competition. Our program is held on Sundays at Fawkner Park, South Yarra from February to March.
At Melbourne Softball we are committed to providing opportunities in the sport of softball and to ensuring the safety and well-being of our members, particularly children. Our Minor League will be overseen by an Executive Committee member, managed by an appointed Junior Program Co-ordinator and conducted by coaches accredited with Softball Australia. All involved will be conversant with the ‘Play By The Rules’ initiative.
Our Minor League consists of programs that best suit particular age groups. All players are covered by the Softball Australia insurance policy.
